Liturgical prayer is the centre of all monastic life and, because "liturgy" has its roots in "work", the monastic liturgy is the "Work of God" - the Opus Dei. "Everyone has a Voice"

Holy Cross School put on two performances of its 2015 end-of-year play, 'Everyone has a Voice', at St George's Hall in High Street, Grahamstown. The play was written and produced by NELM's Basil Mills, together with school staff. Permie Isaac directed the play and Zimkhitha Mdingi conducted the choir. Principal Kary McConnachie said, 'This story emphasised that even the tiniest person/creature can help to solve a big problem and be heard.'
