The Monastery Shop

Thanks to the hard work of Brother Daniel and our Guesthouse Director, Marian, people can visit the space right next to the Guesthouse Office and see something quite new: what the monks have to offer for sale as an expression of their diverse talents. The monastery now has a shop! Brother Daniel has been very busy in the kitchen concocting all kinds of rich and wonderful confections to liven up your toast or bread, or even your ice cream. Some examples are these interesting jams and syrups:

  • Apricot, Vanilla and Almond
  • Guava
  • Hibiscus
  • Rose Petal
  • Strawberry and Chocolate
and there are many other creative and uniquely flavoured toppings.

In addition, several tasty fudges for the sweet tooth or the chocolate lover, and assorted homemade biscuits such as Oat and Coconut Choc-snaps, are available. Some books and various craft items, including drawings and photographs, are also for sale. We hope to add more products to the shop as we continue to harvest the monks' various talents and gifts.
