Holy Cross Monastery Reading Camps

We have just heard that the Reading Camp is receiving funds from the United Thank Offering of the Episcopal Church of the USA through the Diocese of Lexington. The funds are designated to develop training to “expand the Reading Camp programme” throughout the Anglican Church in South Africa. Grahamstown is the first place and currently the only place where the Reading Camp in South Africa is held. This money will not only help that programme but also give an opportunity for Reading Camps to take place in other locations. The joy and enthusiasm for education and particularly reading will hopefully spread among many more children of South Africa.
